Since the early days, Florent has embraced regenerative growing methods that nourish both land and community. Through decades of hands-on experimentation, we’ve cultivated not just plants — but knowledge, traditions, and respect for seasonal rhythms. What we grow is shared daily in our café and bakery, connecting people to place through food that’s fresh, grounded, and real.
Garden Cafe
Nestled in the greenhouse, our café offers a changing menu of seasonal lunches, open-faced sandwiches, and fresh-baked pastries. Whenever possible, we cook with ingredients grown right here — just steps from the kitchen.
You’ll find a small but thoughtful drinks menu, including natural wines, craft beer, and homemade lemonade infused with herbs from the garden.

Farm Shop
A cozy corner for fresh finds — our shop features daily bread and pastries from the wood-fired bakery, garden-grown vegetables, and seasonal preserves made in-house.
You’ll also find a thoughtful selection of small-batch pickles, herbal teas, craft goods, and books we love — all chosen with care to reflect our connection to nature and the seasons.
Artisan Bakery
Built in 1998, our bakery centers around a 16-ton wood-fired oven — the warm heart of Florent. Using organic ingredients and heritage grains, our bakers craft sourdough loaves and seasonal treats that reflect both tradition and the rhythms of the garden. What grows nearby often ends up in the dough — a living connection between field and flour.
Plant Shop
A curated collection of houseplants, seasonal blooms, seeds, and tools — everything you need to bring a little greenery home. From April to October, the outdoor plant yard opens with a wider selection of garden-ready plants, chosen with care.
Our florists also craft bespoke arrangements for events, celebrations, or simply to brighten someone’s day.
Florent is a living landscape — home to vegetable fields, greenhouses, a rose garden, orchards, flower beds, compost zones, a small vineyard, and spaces made for play and learning. Scattered throughout the grounds you’ll find a bakery, a plant nursery, a shop, and a café — each rooted in the rhythms of the garden.
Sunlit Flowers
Each summer, over 50 varieties of flowers and grasses bloom in our organically grown cutting field. Visitors are invited to harvest their own bouquet — simply borrow scissors from the plant shop and pay by weight for what you gather.
